Lagos Retreat is a newly built private retreat residence located in Ilashe, a coastal town/island in Lagos, Nigeria for avid boater and businessman Gossy Ukanwoke. The house was designed by Ms. Etusi Frank and Mr. Ukanwoke.
Is there anything better than life in an open modern beach house, surrounded with palm and coconut trees? Sounds pretty perfect, right? This is what you will get at Lagos Retreat. The house was built in modern style, with minimalist features and a swimming pool looking out on the beautiful ocean. The coconut trees offer amazing feeling of freshness with the wind passing through them. The upper deck has a wide outdoor space where you can sit, have a tea and look at the ocean.
Interior design of this modern beach house is focused on minimalism as well, with dominant white color and hints of coral colors through the building. The fresh atmosphere outside is drawn into the house through large doors that allow for inside-outside living when opened up. The bathrooms provide enough space to accommodate couples.
The property has an outdoor grill area, playground with a volleyball net, sitting areas across the sandy landscape, a green garden and importantly, access to a private beach front.
